Is there a charge for listing a job?

As a leader in sustainability, Unity College Career Services is committed to facilitating connections between students/alumni and meaningful career opportunities.  Posting green job opportunities is free for all employers.

What kind of jobs are listed?

Jobs posted are related to sustainable agriculture, sustainable energy management, aquaculture, wildlife, fisheries, environmental studies, ecology, natural resources, conservation, biological sciences, physical sciences, and adventure based education/therapy.

Local employers and workstudy employers may post any open positions to this board.

Who can post a job?

Organizations with an environmental mission related to the list above, even if the position is not directly related. Organizations can be private, non-profit, government, non-governmental, or educational institutions.

How long does it take for my listing to appear?

Job posts are moderated and may take up to 2 business days to post.

What if I need to modify or close a job listing?

Please send ALL job modifications to crc@unity.edu.  Users can only post jobs, not MODIFY or CLOSE them. Please include title of job when requesting modifications.

Do you save old job listings?

No, there is a limited archive but only the titles of the jobs can be retrieved but not the important information.

I have an application form, can I attach it to my job listing?

Unity College Green Job Board does not host attachments such as PDFs or Word documents. Please include a website address to any forms that applicants need.

How do I apply for a job?

Follow the instructions in the listing. If there are no instructions, visit website listed. If a website is not listed contact the contact person listed.

Category Definitions:

Temporary/ Seasonal Positions: positions that have a term of one year or less, the hours can be full-time or part-time

Full time Positions: more than one year, full-time hours

Internships: paid or unpaid

Graduate Assistantships: Masters and PhD

Volunteer Openings: positions that are available on a short-term basis to assist with a project or help fulfill a community need. For-Profit organizations are excluded from this listing option.

Work  study at Unity College: positions that are currently open for Unity College students who are eligible for federal work study.

Local Vacancies: positions available through local businesses.

Graduate Assistanceships: positions connected to a graduate school program

Fellowships & Scholarships

Study Abroad: opportunities available through 3rd party organizations that include credit-bearing coursework and international travel.
